Clever Recruiter™ Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Clever Recruiter™. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Clever Recruiter™ website, applications, services, and tools (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

These Terms apply globally, regardless of your country of residence or use.

1. Eligibility

To use Clever Recruiter™, you must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction. You represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Services Provided

Clever Recruiter™ provides employers with job posting, advertising, and candidate discovery tools. Job seekers may use the Platform to browse and apply for listings. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time, with or without notice.

3. Account Registration

Certain features require an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information and to maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are solely responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Post fraudulent, deceptive, illegal, or discriminatory job listings

  • Use the Platform for non-recruitment or non-job-seeking purposes

  • Interfere with, disrupt, or misuse the Platform or its services

  • Upload malicious code, spam, or engage in unauthorized data scraping or harvesting

Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

5. Fees and Payment

Paid services are billed at the rates displayed at the time of purchase. By using paid features, you authorize us and/or our third-party processors to charge your selected payment method. All charges are final unless explicitly stated in our Return & Refund Policy.

6. International Use & Currency

Clever Recruiter™ operates globally. Pricing may be shown in your local currency but is processed in USD or another designated base currency. You are responsible for any conversion fees, currency fluctuations, or local taxes.

7. GDPR & Data Processing

Clever Recruiter™ complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws.

  • For users in the EEA, we act as a data processor for recruitment-related personal data.

  • We do not sell or rent personal data.

  • Candidate data is processed solely to connect users with job opportunities based on valid legal bases (e.g., consent or contract).

  • Users may access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of their personal data at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, designs, and services on the Platform are the intellectual property of Clever Recruiter™ or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, or modify any materials without express written permission.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or restrict access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior deemed harmful to the platform or its users.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Clever Recruiter™ makes no representations or warranties regarding the reliability, accuracy, completeness, or availability of any content, features, or job listings.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clever Recruiter™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, unless otherwise prohibited by international law.

13. Modifications

Clever Recruiter™ may modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Reporting Fraudulent Job Listings

Clever Recruiter™ is committed to platform integrity. While we take steps to reduce misleading or fake listings, we rely on our community for enforcement.

If you believe a listing is fraudulent or violates our Terms, please report it to support@cleverrecruiter.com. We will investigate and take appropriate action, including suspension or removal of listings or accounts.
